Gillian was twice my guide for eight day silent retreats at Saint Beuno's. She helped me so much both deepen my faith and, on the second retreat, face a traumatic relationship from my childhood. In the last year of her life she became my spiritual director. She always stressed God's kindness, mercy, understanding, patience, welcome and acceptance. Fortunately I wrote down her thoughts at the time, which I now treasure so much, and they remain for me her lasting inspiration. I miss her greatly; she gave me so much. Dominique Dubois

Gill was a guest director for much of my time at St Beuno's and had also completed an internship there in 2013-14. She was always a really positive presence and was very practical in making arrangements and sorting things out - a background in nursing helped, I am sure! She was also highly regarded as a spiritual director, which i saw both from evaluation forms and from people telling me so. She made a very significant contribution to our spirituality work and touched the lives and souls of very many people. May she rest in peace.

Gillian was my friend and colleague at St Beuno’s and my spiritual guide for the last 7 years. I can’t believe this terrible news. She was the kindest caring supportive friend and colleague.
RIP my lovely Gillian x
